Fishing Navajo Lake
Navajo Lake is a delightful place to visit as the lake is great for many outdoor activities. Some of the most popular recreational things to do include: fishing, picnicking, boating, and hiking. People bring their own boats or rent those available from area businesses to enjoy some water sports like water skiing and fishing. Also, the picnic areas and campsites have several amenities including flush toilets and running water. RVs and travel trailers are also welcome. Also, the lodge near the lake has a grocery store.
The Virgin River Rim Trail goes through the area, and it allows hikers to travel to spectacular sites that overlook Zion National Park, the Pine Valley Mountains, and Kolob Plateau.
The lake is only 12 miles from Duck Creek Village and 25 miles east of nearby Cedar City. For more information about the area please call the Cedar City Ranger District office at (435)865-3200.
